Based in New York, East of the River is a musical project of internationally renowned recorder soloists Daphna Mor and Nina Stern. Their unique sound is created by collaborating with wonderful jazz, classical and world musicians: virtuoso bassist and oud player Omer Avital, accordionist Uri Sharlin, and percussionist Shane Shanahan.
Their latest self-titled album, produced by the well-known world music producer Jamshiee Sharifi, includes music from the Balkan, Armenia, and Medieval-Italy.
